Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information Quantum Labs collects when you use this website or work with us, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the rights you have under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect
We only collect what we need.
- When you ask for a quote: your name and surname, email address, WhatsApp number, your area, the services and package you choose, and anything you write in your message.
- Always, for security: technical logs kept by our hosting provider, such as IP address, date and time of a request and the page requested.
Why we use it
- To reply to you, prepare your quote and send it to you by email.
- To deliver, support and invoice the services you buy from us.
- To keep the website and our systems secure and to prevent abuse and spam.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We process your information because you consented, because it is needed to conclude or perform a contract with you, because the law requires it, or because it serves our legitimate interest in running a secure business, as allowed by section 11 of POPIA.
Direct marketing
We will not send you marketing messages unless you asked us to or you are an existing client and the message relates to similar services, as allowed by section 69 of POPIA. Every marketing message tells you how to opt out, and opting out is free.
Who we share it with
We never sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted operators who help us run the business, under written terms that require them to keep it confidential and secure:
- Our website hosting provider and its data centre, which stores the website, the database and server logs.
- Our email provider, which delivers the emails you send us and the quotes we send you.
- Professional advisers such as our accountant, only when needed.
- Authorities, only where the law requires it.
Information sent outside South Africa
Some of our operators store information on servers outside South Africa, for example in the European Union or the United States. We only use providers in countries with laws that adequately protect personal information, or providers bound by agreements that give protection similar to POPIA, as required by section 72 of POPIA.
How long we keep it

How we protect it
- Every page and form uses an encrypted HTTPS connection.
- Quote prices are checked on our server, and form submissions are protected against spam and abuse.
- The admin area is limited to one authorised person and uses Google sign in.
- Information is stored on secured servers and only accessed when needed.
If we become aware of a security compromise that affects your information, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as required by section 22 of POPIA.
Your rights
You may at any time:
- Ask whether we hold information about you and request a copy.
- Ask us to correct or delete information that is wrong, out of date or no longer needed.
- Object to us processing your information, or withdraw your consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before.
- Change your cookie choices using Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator, at inforegulator.org.za.

Children
This website and our services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top always shows the latest version, and important changes will be shown on the website.
